WE’RE ALSO A PLACE WHERE LOVE STORIES ARE MADE…

I want to start by saying, it’s a simple easy get away from life. My fiancé and I had first came here when we started dating and fell in love with the place. Away from people but close enough to go and enjoy different parts of the area. We are early morning risers, which we loved even more with watching the sunrise come up from the water, listening to the waves crash while enjoying our coffee. Then just enjoyed our day, whether it was sitting on the beach or enjoying different parts of lake drive. We had both looked at each other and said this is our comfort place (our favorite get away).

Fast forward to fall of 2024 and we made that beach our place forever because it is where I had proposed with the amazing help of Austin and Mikayla. This place holds special memories for me, and with great owners I'm sure it could also do the same for a lot of people who choose to stay here. They take it personal when you stay here because they understand what this place means to them when they have the time to get away. I promise, you will not regret the time you get to enjoy at the Bay House.

OUR AMENITIES

 

  • Relax and unwind in our brand new hot tub! It comfortably seats 6 guests and is a great spot to stargaze and take in the nature of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

  • Although we share a shore line with our neighbours, the sandy beach space in front of our deck is private.

  • We have plenty of beach toys for the kids, board games, corn hole boards and ladder golf to make new memories with your friends and family!

  • The BBQ is situated along the back deck, so that you can take in the incredible waterfront views while grilling. We supply propane for our guests.

  • The hammock is the perfect spot on the beach to relax and read a great book.

  • There is plenty of free parking in our driveway. Guests will not have access to the garage though.

  • Picture this.. your toes are in the sand as you gather around the beach bonfire under a sky full of stars. Don’t feel like starting a wood fire? The fire table runs on propane and is a great way to warm up quickly.

  • We provide all the pots, pan, dishes and basic spices you may need during your stay.

  • We offer complimentary coffee, tea, sugar and creamer for our guests. In the winter months — we also provide hot chocolate.

  • Guests will have access to 2 paddle boards!

  • We provide bedding, bath towels, and beach towels, as well cozy blankets to cuddle up on the couch with!
